EDM And Wire Cutting EDM Technology Experts
EDM and WEDM are generally used for processes that cannot be completed by CNC or precision grinding, or for the machining of super-hard and difficult-to-machine materials. For example, plastic mould inserts and cavities, due to the mould steel after heat treatment, and then 5-axis engraving processing is very time-consuming and tool fragile. Therefore, we choose to use precision discharge spark machine processing, the use of precision engraving machine will be copper male/electrode engraving to the shape of the mould, and then use the EDM machine forming.
Wire EDM is also suitable for the processing of high hardness materials, tungsten wire/copper wire/diamond wire to cut the workpiece to the desired shape and precision, SPP industry for fast-wire, medium-wire, slow-wire and oil-cutting machine tools, the use of the cut 1 to repair 1 or cut 1 to repair 3 process can be used to cut the workpiece precision of 0.001, surface finish of Ra0.4.
