Mold Making refers to the processing of forming and blanking tools, in addition to shear dies and die-cutting dies. Typically, a mould consists of two parts: the upper mould and the lower mould. A steel plate is placed between the upper and lower moulds and the material is shaped under the action of a press. When the press is opened, the workpiece defined by the shape of the mould is obtained or the corresponding scrap is removed. Workpieces as small as an electronic connector or as large as an automobile dashboard can be shaped with a mould. A progressive mould is a set of moulds that can automatically move the processed workpiece from one station to another and get the shaped component at the last station. Mould processing technology includes: cutting die, blanking die, composite die, extrusion die, four-slide die, progressive die, stamping die, die-cutting die and so on.

2, mould processing process.

Cutting: front mould material, rear mould material, insert material, line position material, oblique top material;

3, Basic features.

(1) The moulds requiring high processing accuracy are generally composed of concave moulds, convex moulds and mould frames, and some of them may also be multi-piece collocation modules. Precision mould dimensional accuracy is often up to μm level.

4, processing process arrangement:
