Products | Tungsten Carbide Wear Parts
SPP Industry supplies the highest quality tungsten carbide, industrial ceramics, tool steel wear parts and other speciality parts to many industries around the world. We have our own sintering plant for tungsten carbide materials, from the sintered blank forming of the material to the precision machining, all done in our own facility. The combination of 30 years of custom parts experience and the benefits of scale gives our tungsten carbide parts the advantage of cost savings and performance improvements for our customers.
The term ‘tungsten carbide’ refers to materials with high hardness and special metallurgical properties. To be precise, they are sintered materials consisting primarily of tungsten carbide and a binding agent. Cemented carbides usually have carbides such as tungsten (WC), titanium (TiC), tantalum (TaC), chromium (CrC) and others. The most commonly used as binders are cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), iron (Fe) and nickel chromium (NiCr). The most common carbide combination is tungsten carbide and cobalt (WC + Co), and the various carbide composition options cover a wide range of hardnesses and possible applications.
Tungsten Carbide Components
We manufacture cemented carbide parts for pumps, valves, compressors and tungsten carbide is an ideal material to challenge the extremely harsh environments of sealing conditions such as valves.
SPP Industry produces parts for use in all conditions and has an exemplary track record of quality, speed of delivery, and lifecycle. Our advanced tungsten carbide grades and ability to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for all aspects of material production, forming and finishing ensures that every component is manufactured to the highest standards, providing long life and efficient performance.
Products:
Major oil and gas companies rely on our tungsten carbide wear components and we have had a 10 year long partnership with PetroChina. We mainly manufacture tungsten carbide drilling components for applications such as drilling actuators, throttling valves, control valves, shut-off valves, treatment systems, tungsten carbide drilling components, ceramic pump components, MWD and LWD components and many other specialised petroleum wear components.
Products:
We produce powder metallurgy moulds and press moulds for pharmaceutical, chemical, sintered metal, magnet manufacturing, optical, dental technology, industrial and laboratory applications, which is a process whereby powdered materials are pressed into shape using gravity. Tungsten carbide is the material of choice for moulds, as tungsten carbide can easily achieve a mirror polish and durability due to its hardness and wear resistance.
Products:
We manufacture carbide wear components for shredding, grinding, granulating and recycling applications in medical and laboratory, mills, pulverisers, granulators and more.
Products:
The main applications are in the fields of stamping technology, can manufacturing, daily packaging moulds and hose manufacturing. Our carbide extrusion dies are widely used for filling and filling cosmetics, toothpastes, pigments, greases, hair dyes, as well as various adhesives and other paste products. Metal forming and stamping products are mainly used in the field of metal forming or punching products such as can making industry, construction and daily necessities.
Products:
Tungsten carbide inserts and tools are mainly used in paper and printing, plastics, food, glass industry, CNC machine tools, wood, tobacco, textile, paper, new energy, batteries and other fields.
Products:
Cold Heading & Cold Forming tungsten carbide tools are used in the production of screws, bolts and rivets, the roller bearing industry, off-highway vehicles, the production of chains and springs, automotive and aerospace, and shipbuilding.
Products:
Cutting inserts and bushings, reduction dies, first and second punches, punches and modules, embossing dies, extrusion dies, nip dies, hexagonal and segmented tools, trimming dies, clamping and cutting jaws, straightening rolls, wire feed rolls, thread forming tools, winding mandrels, sprags, wire guides, wire rolls, punching punches, fixtures and more.
The strength of SPP Industry lies in its extensive experience in the design and manufacture of a wide range of tungsten carbide wear components for many applications in a number of different industries. Our exceptional engineering team and state-of-the-art facilities can meet the challenges of tungsten carbide components, and the benefits of scale can reduce costs and manufacturing time.
When wear and tear is the overriding prerequisite, we are in a better position to help. Not only do we have a wide selection of carbide grades, but we also offer our customers PVD coating, ceramic or tungsten carbide spraying technologies. It's all about making products that improve performance and reduce costs.
Products:
Nearly 90% of all projects we undertake require unique solutions. SPP Industry engineers meet regularly with clients to discuss their needs and design custom solutions to solve problems. Our highly trained field sales team consists of degreed engineers who can solve local engineer-to-engineer problems.
